White Sand, Beach, but not Bali ... Santolo

Beach. White Sand. Quiet Place. Some people would say it might be in Bali. Tetooot. Indonesia not only in Bali, Dude. 

Garut. Each mentioning the word of Garut, some of you might be say it must be a cool atmosphere, fresh air and being in surround of the mountains. But Garut also has withe sand beaches since the location was directed to the southern ocean.

This white sand beach and quiet place is in Santolo beach. If you want to play the white sand but still want to feel like in Bali with ambience white sand, clean, and ramps, beach glance similar with Kuta Beach in Bali, please come to Santolo Beach. Located in Cikelet, south of Garut, mileage within 3.5 hours drive or approximately 88 km from the capital city Garut. This beach is well known in the city and is a popular local tourist destination. 

Santolo Coast region is a gathering of traditional fishermen will be developed into a beautiful tourist destination. It is also an area for fishing activities as a pier (port) fishing boat or a boat that is in Pameungpeuk. Here, you can enjoying the amazing panoramic views of the coast and marine life, is a traveller activity that can be done. There are also charter boats that cater for tourists to enjoy the crashing waves south coast is quite challenging. In addition you can enjoy fresh seafood dishes with a simple dish. 

For your information, there were Santolo a rocket launch site, which is part of the institution of National Aeronautics and Space Agency (LAPAN). Meanwhile, there is a tsunami early warning in Santolo beach. This is to anticipate the tsunami disaster that ever happened in the coastal region south of the island of Java that does not happen again.

Santolo still quiet beach visitors even in times of the weekend. But, this beach has poor maintaned. Many shops are built of bamboo and are not maintained again even still left alone by their owners. Garbage are seen in some corner of the beach, especially from the remnants of food / beverage. 

The beach is no entry fee so it is not surprising that a weekend visit as many family attractions.
