Cubadak Island

Meeting with people especially with the new ones is a fabulous moment. You can meet and get new story from them. Share your story and remember them in your mind. But, this time I would like spend my time with a relaxing mode. Quality time of me-myself-I. Now, this is the best part of my journey while I'm in West Sumatera. 

It's not complete if you're traveling in West Sumatera but you're not enjoying the sea side version. West Sumatra not only in Bukit Tinggi, but you can find another version of point view in the southern of West Sumatera also. Pesisir Selatan. Along side of Pesisir Selatan, there is a great destination and bad to be elimated from the your tourism list in West Sumatra. 

In West Sumatra, there are several islands that have beauty and has been managed as well as other islands like Bali or Lombok. Say it the island Pagang, Marak, Sikuai, Cubadak or Mentawai. If you would like to get a real adventure on a remote island and have much time, you can cross the ocean to Mentawai Island. In Mentawai, you can enjoy the beach, wave for surfing, and trekking. Or else, if you don't have it, you can reach small island like, Pagang, Marak, Sikuai or Cubadak. Here, you can visit enjoy the beaches also. But just information, Sikuai island is still closed to the public due to problems between managers and local residents on the island. So, the alternative you can choose is Cubadak. 

Cubadak Island is located in the Tourism Mandeh, 40 kilometers south of Padang, and 5 km from the beach. The breadth of 40 km². or else, you can reach to Cubadak by boat from the Carocok beach Tarusan.

In the Minang language, the word of Cubadak has a "Jackfruit". Cubadak Island is one of the small islands in West Sumatra. The island has fine sand and blue sea water. More fun again, Cubadak island deserted of tourists at home and abroad. Suitable for those who want to cool off.

This a private island. It caused the island is really restricted to visitors. Especially with the number of the visitors. Enjoying the quiet beach and far away from noisy sound is the best part of this island. Since most tourists who come to the island Cubadak are foreign tourists, so their convenience is the primary things. 

Cubadak island contracted by Nanni Casalegno, an Italian citizen. Almost 25 years he  has been contracted this island. A lot to promote the island to tourists already made. but now, island is mostly known by foreigners than locals. Then, while I'm here. It's like a de'javu. I'm a foreigner in my own country. Sad, but it happened.
