You can reach this lake around 1 hours from Pagaruyung Palace or 3 hours from Bukit Tinggi. Lake Singkarak known as the bike race event and attended by cyclists from abroad. This event held each year. It called Tour de' Singkarak. 

Lake Singkarak is famous for its fish Bilih. It is the only living species of fish in this lake alone. This fish is very unique because it can not survive anywhere, even in the aquarium except at Lake Singkarak.

Unfortunately, the condition of Lake Singkarak as untreated. A lot of garbage in the lake to be impressed dirty. Besides that there are also public facilities can not be used. So, it makes this lake so deserted even on weekends. 

However, at Lake Singkarak, you can feel the cool breeze , windy and can make you reluctant to go home.
