Dieng Plateau as a tourist destination is very varied and not bored sight seeing. Starting with trekking to mount Sikunir to see the sunrise, watching the green or blue sulfur water in Colour Lake until studying of the history of Javanese culture with real heritage until today. Arjuna temple.

Many people only know temples on Java island just Borobudur temple and Prambanan, but you can see the another cultural heritage of hindu were built on centuries 7-8. Boring?. Hmm, you should change your mindset anyway. See and enjoy it with its history. 

The wealth of cultural relics of past glory are scattered in every corner of the archipelago. One is that Arjuna temple complex is one of the oldest temples in Java. In the complex is only a 5 temple over a thousand years old that are still standing solid. In the afternoon it was cold enough temple complex is quite crowded with visitors including me especially on the weekend. Local tourists and foreigner around to look closer and the shape of the temple. The atmosphere was relaxed and peaceful. 

Arjuna temple is one of the temple in the temple complex Arjuna, Dieng. In this complex there are also Semar Temple, Srikandi Temple, Puntadewa Temple, and Sembadra Temple. Arjuna temple is the northernmost of a row of enshrinement in the complex. Meanwhile, the temple Semar is ancillary or complementary temples of Arjuna temple. Both these temples facing each other.

Arjuna temple actually was not too special when compared with the two earlier temples , Borobudur and Prambanan, eventhough it has been revitalized last year. But the local government's efforts to revitalize the temple arjuna should be supported because they want to promote Dieng Plateau as one of tourist destination.
