Duo Lake In Dieng... Enjoy it

Never been bored while you're in Indonesia. So many sight and seeing when you come to a towns. It happened with me also. I feel comfort and hommy eventhough i'm not in my home right now. 

"Hey .. I'm in Dieng ..". A warm greetings for the first time I said in the morning when I was in Banjarnegara. An area located in the highlands and cold temperatures have welcomed me to touch my bone.

Have you been to the Dieng? or have never even heard the name Dieng?. 

Many decent places to visit while in Dieng Plateau besides watching the sunrise at the top Mount Sikunir until enjoying the beauty of the lake of sulfur, Colour Lake, which is still active to this day such as a lake or watch quietly Lake in the Cebong lake.

Cebong lake

Cebong Lake located in the village Sembungan, the highest village in central java or number two in the Java island. Cebong Lake itself is located at the foot of Mount Sikunir. Once you've seen the beauty of the sunrise at the top of the mountain and then you back go down then you will be greeted by Cebong Lake. A lake for irrigation of agricultural land in the form of growing vegetables, in addition to being a tourist destination.

But the condition of the lake that are not taken care of from local people such as high weeds growing around the lake a value less than tadpole pond. even in some parts of the lake, there are many animal waste and odors. Although intended as a fertilizer for crops, but the location is not far from the lake so it makes a lot of tourists are reluctant to look further.

Colour lake is very well known in Dieng. Even become a tourist destination and worth  to be visited. Although the lake is still active with a suffocating smell of sulfur but still interesting to explore.

Colour Lake is a volcanic lake that contains water mixed with sulfur, when exposed to sunlight will reflect light colors because the mineral ingredients. Sometimes blue and yellow or green and yellow.

The beauty of the lake side of the color can be seen from several angles, one of which is on a hilltop. even if the weather permits lake colors reflect the color of the rainbow variety.

The myth of Colour Lake, which is still a lot to talk about today is supposedly there is a ring that has the power manor / Sorcerer who fell into the lake color. So that the ring put out colorful hues on the color of the lake.

Believe it or not with the myth, all come back to you. But the beauty of the lake is worth to you to see.
